PJXM website updates…

PJXM mobile site

Afternoon folks!

Over the next few days the PJXM web and mobile sites will be undergoing some routine maintenance and updates to the layout. The site will be fully functional as the upgrades are slowly rolled out with no disruption to you!

We will be adding new communities to our Police News site for 2018 and you’ll now notice a reduction in the amount of posts you see at one time so other content can be viewed, particularly on our mobile website. We continue to strive to keep ads out of our story paragraphs so it’s easier for you to read the story without interruption. Unfortunately though, ad planning/adjustment is not apart of our website editing and is automated by WordPress and our current layout so ad placement may change over time.

Now PJXM would like to thank you all for visiting our social media pages and website this past year! While 2017 wasn’t as awesome as 2016 for news posts, we managed to beat our goal of achieving over 500,000 views after we ditched reporting on city and political BC News and leaving behind Grande Prairie RCMP news in late 2016. So our 2017 stats sit at 709,741 views and visits as of December 31 so thank you all!

Since May 2015, over 3.4 million people have visited and viewed the PJXM website and that is something to be proud of! In 2018, PJXM is going to expand the police news coverage west of Prince George and south of Williams Lake starting in January! Full forest fire coverage is also returning in 2018!

Thanks again and have a wonderful 2018!!
