The Prince George RCMP is thanking a witness who made an out-of-the-ordinary discovery on April 1, 2024, which assisted police in recovering a large quantity of drugs hidden in the area.
Police say a report came in shortly before 1:00 PM, when a witness reported finding large black cases buried down a local trail near the 6800-block of Fairmont Crescent, in lower College Heights.
When officers searched the area further, they found a total of three cases buried in various locations. Investigators opened the cases and found approximately $5000 in cash and over 400 grams of illicit drugs inside

Prince George RCMP is reminding the public to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood by calling the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.
