UPDATE – The North District Major Crime Unit is seeking public assistance. On Sunday, December 31, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, the red Dodge Calibre stated in the original release was accompanied by a red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with gold trim along the lower portion of the pickup.

These vehicles may have been seen in the vicinity of 17th Street/116th Avenue as well as on the Alaska Highway in Dawson Creek.

Police are asking anyone with surveillance video, dash cam video or information regarding the red Dodge Calibre and the red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup to contact the Dawson Creek RCMP at (250) 784-3700.

The North District RCMP along with the Dawson Creek RCMP are currently investigating a suspicious death…

Police say on December 31, 2023, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on 17th Street and 116th Ave in the city. Upon arrival, officers located a male deceased inside a red Dodge Calibre.

Police are asking anyone who may have information on the red vehicle in question to contact them.
