Police investigate animal cruelty case…

The Fort St. John RCMP viewed the recording that was posted to the public site and immediately recognized the person in the video from a previous unrelated matter.

“This is a disturbing discovery as it appears the animal was intentionally made to suffer,” said Cpl Madonna Saunderson, spokesperson for the BC RCMP.

The RCMP arrested a person in connection with this crime and have recovered the remains of the animal. The suspect has been released on conditions as the investigation continues.
