Runner assaulted in College Heights…
PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are currently looking for information after a woman was assaulted while jogging last week…
On April 30, officers received a report that at approximately 10:30 PM that night, an unknown male assaulted a woman while she was out for a run.
The victim stated she was running in the area of Osgoode Drive and Gladstone Drive when a young male came out of the woods and punched her twice in the face before retreating into the woods. The victim did not recognize the assailant.
She describes him as:
- Approximately 16 years old
- Curly brown hair
- Red Hurley hat
Police are looking for any further information on the assailant. If you have any information on who he might be, please contact the Prince George RCMP by calling 250-561-3300. Additionally, if anyone has experienced a similar incident we encourage them to come forward, or to report to police any unrelated issues with youth in the area.
