Update: One man sent to hospital following stabbing incident…

On Tuesday November 7th, 2017, 24 year-old Nathan Carl ALEXANDER attended the Prince George RCMP and turned himself in to police.

ALEXANDER has been charged by Provincial Crown Counsel with the following Criminal Code Offences:

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Assault Causing Bodily Harm
  • Assault
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

 

ALEXANDER was scheduled to make his first appearance in Provincial Court this afternoon.

The motivation behind this attack still not known.  It appears that the suspect and victim are not known to one another. The investigation is continuing.

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are asking for witnesses following a stabbing late Saturday… 

Police say just after 10:00 PM, officers received a report of an Assault with a Weapon that occurred in a parking lot near the corner of Massey Drive and Westwood Drive. 

Two adult males were walking in the parking lot when an unknown male approached,  punched, and then stabbed one of the men. The suspect male ran to a near-by white SUV style vehicle and fled the area with another male. All efforts to locate the suspect vehicle were negative.

The male suspect is described as:

  • First Nations
  • Early 20’s
  • 6′ tall
  • Chubby build
  • Wearing a black coat, jeans and a hat

 

The male victim was transported to UHNBC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The motivation behind this attack is not yet known. At this point in the investigation, it appears the suspect and victim are not known to one another.
