One man has been arrested following a violent crime last week in Prince George…

Police say on April 7, just before 10 PM, officers received a report of a man causing a disturbance at a local gas station on Range Road.

Witnesses told police that a man had
been causing a disturbance in the store and had gotten into a physical fight with another customer before leaving.

Shortly after the altercation, the male suspect was seen returning in a white car. As the car drove past the gas station, witnesses allege he pointed a firearm out of the window and shot multiple times at the gas station.

Within an hour of the initial 9-1-1 call, investigators located and arrested the suspect at a nearby home.

The suspect was released on an undertaking with a future court date.

During this incident, officers were dealing with another violent offender case and made an arrest in that case as well.

“Despite both of these complex investigations happening simultaneously, our officers were
successful in arresting both suspects that night,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer
for the Prince George RCMP.

There were no injuries reported.
