A stolen pickup truck has been returned to it’s rightful owner after a patrolling officer observed plates that did not match the vehicle type. – RCMP Photo
On March 18, 2023, Fort St. John officers located a white Dodge Ram truck on the roadway that had plates attached belonging to a different vehicle. Police did not pull it over at first and a short time later located the same white Dodge Ram parked backwards in a driveway with the driver sitting inside.
Police started an investigation and learned the Dodge Ram was stolen from a parking lot in Fort St. John on March 7, 2023.
The male suspect was arrested for the following…
- Possession of the Property Obtained by Crime
He was found to have no license and was issued a 24 hour driving suspension. The man was released on an undertaking with conditions to not occupy a seat in a motor vehicle unless the registered owner is present.
His court appearance is set for May 29, 2023.
