Parking lot fight leads to charges in a Fort St. John file…

FORT ST. JOHN, BC: A fight in a parking lot last week in Fort St. John has lead to charges against one man…

Police say on February 24, 2023, at about 1:30 PM, officers received a report of a man and a woman fighting in the parking lot of a business located on 100th Street at 106th Street. The two individuals were each walking two dogs and were yelling and wrestling with each other in the parking lot.

When RCMP arrived on scene, the male suspect yelled at police, released control of his two dogs and charged a police officer while displaying a weapon. Officers arrested and gained control of the male suspect but were bitten by the loose dogs.

Noah ALMOND was arrested for

  • Assault
  • Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Obstruct a Peace Officer

ALMOND was held for court and later released on a Release Order with a future court date of March 20, 2023.

One officer attended the hospital for bite wounds and was released.
