Twitter feed…
Afternoon, folks!
PJXM has added its Twitter feed to the website sidebar! It has been added to the top of the page as we have ended publishing stories on “Wanted Persons” unless it is an extreme case and the person needs to be caught immediately. Instead, Wanted Persons will be shared through our Twitter feed as a link to the respected RCMP detachment in our coverage area. Wanted Person information will NOT be shared to our FB page.
PJXM has been sharing Wanted Persons using the Twitter feed for months, but members and visitors had to view our Twitter page in order to see what’s being shared.
The reason for the change is due to the amount of wanted persons each week from our RCMP coverage area. It’s much easier to share via Twitter. If you don’t have an account on Twitter that’s no problem, you can still click the link provided on the feed and it will take you to the RCMP website without using a Twitter account.
Mobile smartphone users of the PJXM website will have to scroll down the list of posted stories in order to see the Twitter feed. Desktop computer users will see the Twitter feed as soon as the page loads.
