December 21, 2022 UPDATE: Further investigation reveals that the vehicle involved in this incident is believed to be a 2015-2022 Dodge 1500. A video provided by the RCMP shows the vehicle coming back past the scene in the northbound lane.
Investigators have also found new evidence within the headlight assembly left behind to suggest the vehicle is a Dodge Ram 1500.

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are looking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run that sent a pregnant woman to hospital Friday evening…
Police say on December 16, 2022, shortly before 7:00 PM, officers were called to the area of Highway 97 North and Noranda Road, for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers located a female victim being provided first-aid by passing motorists. The 37 year-old female victim was taken to UHNBC for treatment of serious injuries.
We can confirm the victim involved in this tragic incident lost her unborn child and the victim remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.
Evidence at the scene suggests the vehicle involved may have been a 2014 – 2017 Ford F-350 and will have damage to its passenger side.
Police are asking for any witnesses driving in the area between 6:30 and 6:50 PM who hasn’t already spoken to RCMP to come forward by calling the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 or as always remain anonymous and contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
