House fire on the Hart under investigation…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: An overnight house fire on the Hart has seriously damaged a home and sent one person to hospital…

At approximately 2 AM, fire crews from three halls responded to the structure fire on the 1300 block of Alex Drive.

When crews arrived, fire was consuming the main floor of the home. One resident of the home suffered burns and was treated on scene and then taken to UHNBC for further treatment.

Damage is pegged at around $285,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the RCMP.
