ERT from Prince George headed to Williams Lake as an ongoing incident continues…

WILLIAMS LAKE, BC: The North District RCMP is currently headed to Williams Lake to help out with an ongoing situation…

Police say on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 2:36 AM, Williams Lake officers were called to the scene of an early morning incident involving a firearm. Two people, one man and one woman, were arrested in connection with the active investigation.

The Emergency Response Team (ERT) from Prince George was called in and are enroute to the scene. Police have set up containment at the home, as it is believed others involved remain in the residence.

Police are asking that everyone to stay away from 1200 Pidgeon Avenue at this time.
