Road closures
At the intersection of 1st Ave. and Tabor Blvd., City crews will work on replacing a damaged water valve on Monday morning. Drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians are instructed to plan alternate routes since the intersection of 1st Ave. and Tabor Blvd. will be completely closed during construction.
Low water pressure may occur at properties in Heritage neighbourhood
To complete the repair, adjacent water valves along Tabor Blvd. from 5th Ave. to Otway Rd. must be shut off while construction is underway. Residents and businesses in the vicinity may experience low water pressure.
Today, the City proactively notified businesses in the surrounding area before construction begins Monday, November 1. The work is expected to be completed by the end of November.
The City thanks residents for their patience as repairs are completed, and encourages motorists to drive cautiously while around road crews.
