DAWSON CREEK, BC: Police in Dawson Creek continue to investigate a shooting that sent two people to hospital on Sunday…

Police say on April 11, 2021, at approximately 8:20 AM, officers were called to a residential area on 107th Ave near 13th Street. Officers located a male and a female suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims are in their late 20’s.

Both the man and woman have survived though the male victim has been air-lifted to Edmonton for emergency treatment. The involved residential complex has been the subject of a police search warrant relating to drugs or stolen property on three separate occasions over the last year.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Dawson Creek RCMP hope to speak with any witnesses that may have heard gun shots or seen suspicious activity on the morning of April 11, 2021, in the area of 107th Avenue and 13th Street.
