WILLIAMS LAKE, BC: A woman is in hospital following a stabbing incident in the city overnight…
Police say on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at approximately 3:30 AM, officers responded to a residence at Atwood Place for a report of a stabbing victim.
When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old woman suffering from a serious stab wound requiring immediate medical attention.
Police learned the victim had been assaulted at a different location, over on 2nd Ave, and ended up at Atwood Place after being stabbed.
Officers moved their investigation to 2nd Ave and arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with the stabbing. The two involved are known to each other and police do not believe there is any further risk to the public.
