Police seek suspect following Break and Enter…

FORT ST. JOHN, BC: Police are asking for the public’s help following a Break and Enter to Shoppers Drug Mart in Fort St. John on February 1…

Police say at approximately 5:40 AM, officers responded to an alarm at Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 10300 block of 100th St.

Officers arrived on scene to find both front glass doors shattered and the suspect gone. Initial review of onsite surveillance showed a single suspect in blue coveralls entering the store, making their way toward the front counter area then leaving the store a very short time later.

Police conducted foot and mobile patrols in the area but did not locate the suspect.

“It is still early in the investigation,” said Cst Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St. John RCMP. “The Fort St. John RCMP is working closely with Shoppers Drug Mart staff to gain additional details for further investigation.”

The Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate and if anyone witnessed this incident to contact police and provide any additional information.
