Police seize uncut cocaine during traffic stop…
PRINCE GEORGE, BC: On Monday August 31, 2020 at approximately 8:30 p.m., frontline officers with the Prince George RCMP executed a traffic stop on Continental Way in the BCR Industrial Site. The vehicle did not have active insurance.
Further investigation led officers to detain the driver as part of a drug trafficking investigation. A search of the vehicle located a large amount of uncut cocaine and cutting agent. The vehicle was seized as part of the investigation.
A Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was obtained for a residence on the 2000-block of Central Street East. Search of the residence found a large amount of cash, suspected heroin, drug trafficking paraphernalia and an assault style rifle with a prohibited magazine.
The 30 year-old male from Prince George was later released pending further investigation and charge approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.
