Update… Police seek male suspect following Sexual Assault in Dawson Creek…
UPDATE: The RCMP made an arrest in this case and have forwarded charges to Crown counsel. As of August 18.
DAWSON CREEK, BC: The Dawson Creek RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a male suspect following a sexual assault incident…
Police say the incident occurred on August 15 at approximately 3:30 AM The female victim was walking alone in the area of 5th Street and 100B Avenue when she was attacked by an unknown male.
The male dragged the victim into a nearby bush and sexually assaulted her. The female was able to get away and call for help which lead to police being called.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Short
- Dark beard and mustache
- Wearing a hat (displayed below)
