Beginning Tuesday May 19, 2020, the Prince George Municipal Detachment will re-open all front counter non-essential services to the public.
These services include fingerprinting and Police Information Checks (PIC). The Detachment will be abiding by social distancing guidelines and will have appropriate signs and markers in place to direct our clients when they enter the building.
All staff will have access to personal protective equipment (PPE) and depending on the service required, may provide clients with PPE. These actions are being taken in an effort to limit public contact with our staff due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms are asked not to attend the Detachment in person and to call 250-561-3300 for service or information.
Our police officers will continue to respond to calls for service as usual. In an emergency, call 9-1-1. To report a non-emergent incident, please avoid attending the Detachment in person and call 250-561-3300.
To report a less serious property related crime that occurred in Prince George or surrounding area, please utilizing our Online Crime Reporting tool.
