PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are currently investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early this morning…
Police say at approximately 2:30 AM on April 27, 2020, the Prince George RCMP received a report of shots fired near 6th Avenue and Alward Street in Prince George.
Multiple frontline officers attended the area immediately. Evidence of a shooting was found in an alley near-by. No victims or suspects were initially located.
Later this morning, a vehicle associated to an address near the scene was located with what appear to be bullet holes. The driver of the vehicle was spoken to, but is not cooperating with police at this time.
The investigation has led officers to believe that this incident was targeted and related to the drug trade. The Prince George RCMP have allocated a number of resources to this investigation with the goal of identifying the person or persons involved.
