Police say the found remains located on the shore of the Fraser River have been identified as Darryl Leblanc Jr., of Quesnel.
The Quesnel RCMP had an open investigation to locate the 25 year-old man after his father reported him missing on January 24, 2020. Darryl was last seen alive on December 30, 2019.
The Quesnel RCMP would like to thank the public for the tips provided to the investigators during this investigation. Thoughts and prayers go out to Darryl’s family and friends.
