Police say just after the 7 PM, officers were were called to assist BC Ambulance with a medical emergency. When officers arrived to assist, members observed a substance believed to be cocaine, a rifle, and Canadian currency inside the home. The occupants of the home, a man and a woman were arrested and transported to the Quesnel RCMP Detachment jail cells and held pending investigation.
A Search Warrant was executed at the residence where drugs, cash and a firearm were seized. The occupants of the home were released on Promise to Appear for a court date in 2018.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
