PRINCE GEORGE, BC: A male is in custody after crashing a stolen car into a garage earlier today…
Police say at approximately 9:20 AM, officers received a report of a stolen Acura taken from a residence near 15th and Foothills. The car was taken sometime overnight or early morning.
At approximately 12:15 PM, officers received a report of a Motor Vehicle Collision on Sadler Drive. Initial indications were that a vehicle collided with a residential garage and the driver fled on foot.
Police attended the area and located the stolen Acura empty. An extensive search for the suspect was conducted and just before 1:00 PM, officers located and arrested a 39 year-old Prince George resident believed to be responsible for this incident. He will be held in custody overnight and will appear in Provincial Court on Tuesday December 5th, 2017.
