The Prince George RCMP conducted a targeted drug trafficking enforcement on November 16, 2025, at a residence on the 7100-block of Guelph Crescent, which resulted in the seizure of seven firearms…
Investigators familiar with those living in the residence determined the risk to public and police safety to be high, so the North District Emergency Response Team was engaged to assist with the safe execution of the search warrant.
Inside the house, officers located several firearms, including one prohibited firearm, as well as evidence of drug trafficking. In total, seven firearms were seized as part of the investigation.
“The removal of firearms out of the hands of those who are part of the criminal landscape represents a positive enhancement to public safety,” says Inspector Chris Riddle, Operations Officer of the Prince George RCMP. “Any time we can take illegally obtained firearms out of our community is a demonstration of our commitment to enhancing public safety.”
This investigation remains ongoing.
