The Fort St. John RCMP is currently investigating a homicide following a report of an assault Tuesday evening…
Police say at approximately 6:42 pm on June 24, 2025, officers responded to an assault occurring on the 9900 block of 99th Ave near the Salvation Army supportive housing unit. When officers arrived on scene, one person was located unresponsive and despite life saving measures the man was pronounced deceased.
The Fort St. John RCMP Serious Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation and will be supported by BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit from Prince George.
As the investigation is in the early stages, no further information will be provided at this time.
