From May 6 to May 11, 2025, CFSEU-BCβs Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET) was deployed to the Peace Region to work alongside Dawson Creek and Fort St. John RCMP.
UGET conducted enforcement on gang-related activities to enhance community safety. The deployment resulted in 33 arrests and 27 new investigations. UGET officers seized a significant quantity of firearms, weapons, suspected illicit drugs, and cash as follows…
- Firearms/Weapons:
- 1 loaded 9 mm rifle
- 2 loaded 9 mm pistols
- 2 rifles
- 1 loaded .22 caliber pistol
- 2 replica firearms
- 9 knives
- 2 batons
- 1 machete
- 1 axe
- 1 bayonet
- 2 tasers
- Assorted ammo, scopes, rails and magazines
- Drugs:
- 850 grams of crack cocaine
- 275 grams of cocaine
- 15 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 5 grams of fentanyl
- Cash: Approximately $12,500
