Police in Fort St. John are asking for the public’s help to identify two people involved in a break and enter to a business last Saturday…

Police say on June 1, 2024 at 11:20 pm, officers responded to a break and enter alarm at the Fort Bowling Lanes on 104th Street.

Two suspects were observed on surveillance video breaking into the main entry glass doors with a prybar. The two then proceeded to steal a backpack of liquor from the premises.

RCMP say the suspects are believed to be a youth male and a youth female.

Suspect clothing:

  • Black hoodie with white writing on the left chest, large white and red logo on the back
  • Ball cap
  • Grey pants
  • Black shoes with white soles

Suspect clothing:

  • Grey Crooks & Castles hoodie with black logo on the sleeves
  • Ball cap
  • Blue jeans with rips in the knees
  • Dark shoes

The suspects are also believed to be involved in a mischief file that occurred earlier the same night at the BC Liquor Store located at 10215 100th Street. The suspects attempted to use a fire extinguisher to break the glass of the main entry door, which failed and triggered the alarm. Both fled the scene.

The Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time, may have dash cam video of the area or can identify the suspects in this matter to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
