Dawson Creek man faces murder charges…

A Peace Region area man is facing second degree murder charges following a stabbing incident in Prince George last June…

Charges have ben laid against Braiden Josie MECK, 29, from Dawson Creek.

Back on June 11, 2022, Devon Lindstrom was fatally stabbed at a commercial business on Queensway just after 5 AM. Lindstrom was rushed to UHNBC but died of serious injuries.

The B.C. Prosecution Service approved charges of second degree murder against MECK, who is known to police. He is currently in custody on an unrelated matter awaiting a court appearance.

No further information is to be released.
