Motorists be advised that Highway 97 is CLOSED in both directions due to downed power lines on Highway 97 between Kennedy Rd and Azu Sub. No detour. Estimated time for reopening is 1 pm PST.
The outage was caused by a vehicle incident and is currently affecting 81 customers in the Mackenzie region. It is also affecting some of the DriveBC.ca webcams for Highway 97 North.
