UPDATE 2: The Saskatoon Police Service has located the transport truck in question to this file and the vehicle has been towed to a secure facility for further investigation. As of Dec 20, 2022.

UPDATE 1: Dawson Creek RCMP are looking to speak with the driver of a white B-train International ProStar with what appears to be a red H on the drivers side door and black numbers “1557” on the drivers side front hood. The trailer could possibly be a Doepker Super B.

DAWSON CREEK, BC: One man has died following a serious vehicle crash on Hwy 2 near the airport on Thursday…

Police say on December 15 at 5:42 PM, Dawson Creek RCMP received a call of a head-on motor vehicle crash on Highway 2.

Officers attended and located a GMC pickup truck extensively damaged and a semi-truck that remained at the scene.

Unfortunately, one male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a white B-train Freightliner tractor trailer with a tarped load of OSB (plywood) possibly heading eastbound toward Alberta.
