Ended as of Dec 22 at 11:15 AM. 40 plus cm of snow has fallen on the Prince George region since Tuesday morning. It will take days to clear up residential streets in Prince George so please use caution.

UPDATE: Snowfall amounts have increased. 15 to 25 cm of snow is expected for many areas Tuesday and well into Wednesday. The Pine Pass region is now included in the warning.

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for Prince George region for Tuesday and Wednesday…

10 to 20 cm is expected.

An approaching winter storm will give snow to the B.C. Interior. Snowfall will begin early Tuesday morning and intensify late in the morning. There will be a brief reprieve of heavy snow Tuesday overnight. However, this will be short lived and accumulating snowfall will return Wednesday morning before tapering off to flurries by Wednesday afternoon.
