Dec 17 UPDATE: A Snowfall Warning is now in effect for the Prince George, Quesnel, Vanderhoof and Burns Lake areas for tonight and Saturday.

Up to 30 cm of snow is expected for some areas, particularly around the Cariboo Mountains. Up to 15 cm is expected for Prince George.

Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement in regards to heavy snow that is in the forecast for the weekend.

Up to 20 cm is expected to fall beginning late Friday night and all day Saturday.

If a warning is issued we’ll update this post.
