Police asking public to be on the lookout for stolen heirlooms…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: The Prince George RCMP is asking the public to keep an eye out for some recently stolen family heirlooms.

On September 5, 2021, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter to a local storage facility. One of the storage lockers had its lock removed and the contents gone through, with several items missing.

Some of the items missing include:

  • Canadian Mint coin collection from between 1962-1964
  • Several Canadian $1.00 and $2.00 bills
  • A pearl necklace
  • Medals of service with the Canadian Armed Forces from 1934-1945
  • Some pieces of ID and old cheque books
