PRINCE GEORGE, BC: The Prince George RCMP is asking the public to keep an eye out for some recently stolen family heirlooms.
On September 5, 2021, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter to a local storage facility. One of the storage lockers had its lock removed and the contents gone through, with several items missing.
Some of the items missing include:
- Canadian Mint coin collection from between 1962-1964
- Several Canadian $1.00 and $2.00 bills
- A pearl necklace
- Medals of service with the Canadian Armed Forces from 1934-1945
- Some pieces of ID and old cheque books
