Road rage incident leads to arrest…
PRINCE GEORGE, BC: An extreme case of road rage led to the arrest of a driver Wednesday night.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2021, the Prince George RCMP received a complaint of a road rage incident on the 6700 block of the Hart Highway.
Frontline members learned that two drivers got into an argument that resulted in one driver allegedly pulling out a firearm and threatening the other driver with it. Police located the suspect driver and arrested him with the assistance of a Police Dog Service team.
Investigators identified the male as 54-year-old Prince George resident Donald Chromick. Mr. Chromick is known to police and was held in custody to attend court on October 7, 2021. The B.C. Prosecution Service approved the following charges against Mr. Chromick:
- Possession of a weapon
- Resist arrest
- Careless use of a firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm
Mr. Chromick will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
