FORT ST. JOHN, BC: Two suspects are facing charges following an assault and kidnapping case on Tuesday (Feb 23)…
Police say at approximately about 6:30 AM, officers responded to a complaint of a serious assault at a residence, located on the 8800 block of 101st Avenue in Fort St. John.
A male victim was located and provided medical attention.
Two suspects were located, arrested and have been remanded in custody until February 25, for a bail hearing. Police believe there is no danger to the general public.
Police remained on scene, securing the residence, until today, when a search warrant was executed to locate additional evidence. The residence was released early this afternoon.
Charges of Kidnapping, Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement, along with additional charges, have been approved against Matthew McCharles-Carter and Bradin Querin.
