PRINCE GEORGE, BC: The investigation into Thursday’s targeted shooting and subsequent flight from police is continuing…
Evidence found during the investigation has shown that a suspect discharged a firearm at police in pursuit, striking the windshield of a police cruiser. The officer was not hurt.
Investigators continue to gather evidence and obtain statements from witnesses.
The BC Prosecution Service has approved the following charges against 34 year-old Kenneth Ricardo MUNROE of Prince George:
· Possession of a firearm without authorization
· Discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life (2 counts)
· Resist or wilfully obstruct peace officers in the execution of their duty
The BC Prosecution Service has approved the following charges against 31 year-old Bradley Andre OUELLETTE of Prince George:
· Possession of a firearm without authorization
· Discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life (2 counts)
· Resist or wilfully obstruct peace officers in the execution of their duty
· Possession of a firearm while prohibited
· Fail to comply with probation
· Fail to comply with a release order
The BC Prosecution Service has approved the following charges against 40 year-old Eric Vern WEST of Prince George:
· Possession of a firearm without authorization
· Discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life (2 counts)
· Resist or wilfully obstruct peace officers in the execution of their duty
· Possession of a firearm while prohibited
· Fail to stop for police
· Dangerous operation of a conveyance
All three were held in custody overnight and will appear in court today.
