Officers attended and located the male receiving medical treatment from Good Samaritans that stopped to help. The man appeared to be suffering injuries consistent with stab wounds. Paramedics attended and provided medical treatment to the victim. His injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The investigation has led officers to believe altercation occurred between a group of persons in the area, possibly near the corner of 2nd Avenue and Dominion Street. One man was subsequently stabbed.
This incident appears to be targeted. Police are continuing to investigate and are actively seeking the person or persons responsible.
