As of Tuesday the Snowfall Warning has ended. Snow will continue to fall and accumulations will vary all week for the Central Interior and BC North.

Monday morning update: There has been no change.

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for the BC North including the Pine Pass region beginning on Monday. Up to 15 cm expected by Tuesday morning.

Snow is also forecast for the Central Interior on Monday. No warning criteria for the area but expect 5 cm around the Prince George area. Snow is expected to continue all week. We will update this post Monday morning.

Environment Canada Details…

A warm front overriding Arctic air that is currently in place will produce 10 to 15 centimetres of snow through Pine Pass and the B.C. Peace River District by Tuesday morning.

The heavy snow will begin Monday afternoon and abate by Tuesday morning as the front dissipates.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
