PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are warning parents and child care facilities after an incident late last week…
On Friday October 27th, 2017 at approximately 7:30 PM, the Prince George RCMP received a report of an attempted abduction of a child from a daycare facility in Prince George.
At approximately 3:00 PM, an adult female suspect attended a daycare and specifically requested to pick-up a child by her name. The suspect was not able to provide identification and was refused access to the child. The suspect left without further incident. A parent was advised and it was confirmed that no one else was authorized to pick-up the child.
The suspect is described as:
• Adult Caucasian female
• Short
• Slender
• Blonde hair
Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident, but wish to warn all parents and daycare providers as a precaution. The investigation is continuing.
