PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are continuing to investigate following a robbery of a bike in the city on Tuesday…Β 

Police say at approximately 8:30 PM, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a Robbery of a Bicycle in the park of Heritage Elementary School on Anderson Street in Prince George.

A youth male was with friends in the park when a male and female approached them. The victim was shown what he believed to be a handgun. The male suspect rode off with the bike. The female fled the area.

Members immediately attended the area but were advised that the incident had occurred about two hours earlier.Β Police are continuing the investigation and are looking for the public’s help.

The male suspect is described as:

  • First Nations
  • 6′ tall
  • Thin build
  • Short brown hair with a short beard
  • Wearing a black hoodie with a red dragon logo on it, blue jeans and was carrying a camouflage backpack

 

The female suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 5’6″
  • Thin build
  • Tattoo of a sunflower on her upper right arm
  • Wearing a braided blonde wig with a black flower in it, short black shorts and was carrying a large brown purse
GT Avalanche

The bike is described as a lime green GT Avalanche mountain bike with front shocks, hydraulic disk brakes and a Ruckus sticker on it. It has a serial number of CM15M534264 and is valued at $600.

Since June 19th, 2017, ten bicycles have been stolen from the area bounded by 5thΒ Avenue, Foothills Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard (west and north). Only three have been recovered and only one was registered with 529 Garage. The registered bike was one of the three recovered.
