PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Three people remain in custody as a result of an investigation into a scream earlier this week.
Just before 4:00 AM on Tuesday August 8th, 2017, the Prince George RCMP received a report of screams coming from the 2200 block of Spruce Street in Prince George.
Officers attended and checked a number of residences in the immediate area in search of someone in distress. Police attended the residence that was the suspected source of the scream. Several people were located inside, however none appeared to be in distress. Evidence of firearms and drugs was observed by officers. A search warrant was obtained and executed.
A loaded SKS rifle with prohibited magazine, a loaded ‘sawed off’ shotgun, an unloaded ‘sawed off’ shotgun and ammunition were all seized from the residence. A small quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine was also seized, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia. Three persons were arrested, all others were released.
Provincial Crown Counsel has approved the following Criminal Code charges against 39 year old Dean Reginald ANDERSON and 37 year old Brandy Leah FORGET, both of Prince George:
- Possession of a Prohibited Firearm without a Licence
- Carrying a Concealed Prohibited Device
Provincial Crown Counsel has approved the following Criminal Code charges against 22 year old Chad Thomas QUAW of Prince George:
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance (3 counts)
- Fail to comply with Probation (4 counts)
All three have been held in custody until their next court appearance scheduled for Wednesday August 16th, 2017.
