The Prince George RCMP is looking to the public for help in identifying a robbery suspect by their unique tattoo.

On April 2, 2024, shortly after 4:00 PM, the Petro Canada gas station on the 1800-block of 20th Ave was robbed for the cash inside the till.

Police are asking for the public’s help to ID a male suspect.

“The suspect was wearing their hood tied closely around their face and is not easily identifiable; however, they have a unique tattoo covering most of their right hand. We are releasing close up photos of the suspect’s hand, as well as video surveillance showing the robbery, in the hopes that someone will recognize the suspect and speak with investigators,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The suspect is described as:

  • Between 5’4″ and 5’8″ tall
  • Appeared to be around 18-19 years old
  • Wearing a white hoody, dark pants and black hat
  • Tattoo on right hand

The sole employee at the store was not injured during the robbery.

If you have any information about this incident, please contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
