One person has died following a serious single vehicle crash on Queensway over the weekend…
Police say at approximately 2 pm on Saturday afternoon (Oct 25), officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a residence on Queensway.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a yellow sports car flipped on its side after hitting the house. Two people inside the home did not suffer injuries, however, the two occupants of the sports car, a yellow Corvette, were injured. The driver of the car did not survive while the passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Damage to the home is around $50,000.
The file has since been handed over to the BC Coroners Service.
