The Prince George RCMP is requesting the public stay out of the downtown area as they conduct a high-risk investigation into a potential bomb threat at the Courthouse on 250 George Street.
Multiple roads are blocked off between Third Avenue and Second Avenue and between George Street and Queensway. Please obey police officers and bylaw officers as they redirect all pedestrian and vehicle traffic away from that area,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
