Three youths have been arrested following an assault and robbery last week on Central Street…
Police say the incident occurred just after 11 pm on August 6, 2025, when three youths approached a woman in the parking lot of Spruceland Shopping Centre. The youths then proceeded to assault the woman, stealing her bank card and cash during the attack. The trio had then attempted to take the woman’s car keys but fled the scene as officers were arriving.
Once officers arrived on scene, witnesses to the incident pointed the direction of where the youth’s fled to. Officers located the suspects shortly thereafter and were subsequently arrested for their role in the incident. The youths were remanded in custody and released the next day on August 7, 2025, with court conditions.
The female victim in this incident suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to UHNBC for treatement.
“Thankfully, witnesses in the area heard the altercation and immediately reported the incident to police. Frontline officers responded quickly leading to the arrest of all three youth suspects. We would like to remind the public to be vigilant of their surroundings and the importance of reporting these types of matters to police,” says Cst. Jenna Moore, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Prince George RCMP are seeking witnesses, CCTV or anyone with dash cameras who was near the 700-block of Central Street on August 6, 2025 between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., who have not already spoken with police to call (250)561-3300.
