Two men were arrested late this week following a Search Warrant on a home in Williams Lake…
Police say on June 5, 2025, the Cariboo-Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit (CC-CRU) along with the RCMP executed a warrant to the home on Smith Street. Evidence was obtained prior to the warrant on the home to support a drug trafficking residence.
Several officers, including the Police Dog Services, searched the home and located and seized cocaine, magic mushrooms, fentanyl, meth, a variety of pills, illegal cigarettes, firearms, and approximately $5,000 in cash.

One adult man was arrested in the residence. A second person, believed to be a resident of the home, arrived during the search, attempted to flee but was arrested without incident. During the arrest, police found suspected cocaine in a sealed package.
We are committed to proactive, targeted enforcement of the illegal drug trade in our city with public safety being our top priority
said Insp Rob Lake, OIC Williams Lake RCMP.
The investigation is ongoing.
