Police say just after 9 AM, officers were called to the intersection of Highway 97/16. There, officers located a person who was unresponsive.
“Our preliminary investigation has not revealed anything suspicious in nature; we will continue to work closely with the B.C. Coroner’s Service, who will take conduct of the investigation from this point,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Colder temperatures are here to stay for at least another 10 days before moving on out.
Investigation continues and no further updates expected.
