January 2025 has been warm and mostly dry around the PG region but that is about to change as winter weather is on the way to the region this weekend…
Friday morning is when the latest storm system will set itself up to be around Prince George with up to *20 cm of snow by Saturday morning. It will also be windy Friday with a daytime high of *minus 5.
Temperatures will also drop down to the minus 20’s or possible minus 30’s beginning Friday night. Daytime temps to be around minus 13. This latest cold pattern is expected to last a week before things warm up once again. No big deal right?
This is just a reminder that colder weather is on the way and to get those shovels/snowblowers ready!
